NVT-EC1701/EC1701U
Transceiver for the transmission of IP camera data
plus voltage supply for the IP cameras via coaxial
or via twisted pair UTP cable.
Features:
When using this system as a transmitter via
coaxial cable, it supports up to four IP camera
channels. For one IP channel two transceivers are
required. For every additional IP channel only one
more transceiver is required. One power supply
connected to the "receiver" powers up the
"transmitter" and the IP cameras. For correct
transmission a coax cable of type RG-59/U or
similar is suitable, both ends fitted with
(crimped) BNC connectors. Max. transmission
distance is 750 m, depending on the number of IP
cameras, their power consumption and the power
loss along the cables (Cat5 and coax). The
transmitters will be assembled with BNC T adapters
(Art. no. 5.32780).
When using the system as a transmitter via twisted
pair UTP cable, two transmitters are required per
each twisted pair connection. Max. transmission
distance is 228 m with CAT5 and up to 150 m with
standard shielded twisted pair cable.
Technical data:
Network: RJ-45, auto crossover, 10/100-BaseT
Coax cable: RG-59/U or similar with impedance
between 50 and 100 ohms.
Max. data rate: 80 Mbps, comparable with four
megapixel cameras of 20 Mbps each.
Power supply: external unit with 100 to 240 VAC
input and 48 V DC/60 W output.
Power consumption: approx. 2 W @ 48 V DC
Operating status: 2 LEDs (blue + green)
Dimensions of transceiver H x W x D in mm:
