Interface module for recording external contacts
(alarm contacts, etc.) and output of control
contacts (relay) in connection with the digital
recorder systems GeViScope, GeViStore IP and
re_porter.

Performance features:
16 digital inputs and 8 relay outputs.
An additional internal open-collector output
as watchdog, which can be used to control the
mainboard reset signal.

The 16 switch inputs can be operated with a
quiescent-current circuit for sabotage monitoring.

The component can also be used as an expansion
unit in the GeViScope and re_porter and device
series.

Technical data:
The connection to the basis unit or to
expansion units which are already
connected takes place using an 8-pin
shielded RJ-45-cable.
Eight switch inputs are located on four 2-pin,
pluggable screw terminals and on a further
four 12-pin, pluggable screw terminals 4
relay connectors are available for each of them.
The relays' wiring can be made optionally as
a working contact (NO), a break contact (NC)
or as a video switcher contact (C).
The switch input contacts have an internal
pull-up resistor with 1 kOhm to +5 V.
The power supply is centrally provided
via the basic unit.
