Development and market introduction of cheque picture transmission systems for banks and financial institutions.

Development of the almost legendary photo surveillance camera series XY. Sold more than 50.000 times this market leader is still today being installed all over the world.

Introduction of the first computer-controlled video security system for a large-scale project capable of managing over 300 CCTV cameras and e.g. displaying these on the monitors of a surveillance centre.

Introduction of the very first video motion detector for outdoor applications on the market, capable of reliably distinguishing between real alarm situations and changing environmental conditions (animals, rapidly changing light conditions due to clouds etc.); this device is the basis for GEUTEBRÜCK´s reputation as a leader in the area of video motion detection.

Development of the first digital alarm frame storage system.

Development and market introduction of the first modular video crossbar matrix generation KS-40.

Introduction of the further developed video motion detector, TeleTect VS-30 allowing speed, direction and size of a moving object to be user-defined as alarm criteria - even taking perspective distortions into account.

The continuing development of simple alarm frame storage systems into the VIDEOBASE alarm frame database opens up completely new possibilities for evaluating alarm sequences: Every picture is automatically indexed with camera number, alarm number, date/time and information texts. In addition to the greatly improved picture resolution (= quality), this also means increased user-friendliness and time savings thanks to direct access to desired pictures, without time-wasting search as encountered in the use of conventional videotapes.

GEUTEBRÜCK moves from Bad Honnef to its new corporate headquarters in Windhagen near Bonn. Since its founding, the company has grown to a total number of staff of over 100.

The next generation of modular crossbar matrix systems ViCros II replaces KS-40.

Introduction of MULTISCOPE, the first digital video recorder for security applications. Market introduction of the very first interactive graphical user control interface DICSY, based on Windows.

The PEGASUS video transmission system enables broad-band video signals to be transmitted via telephone lines with extremely high picture quality.
GEUTEBRÜCK is certified according to ISO 9002.
The British Security Association Ltd. rewards the MULTISCOPE Video Disc Recorder its most prestigious honour, the 1994 IFSEC Award as the most innovative security product of its class.

Major advances in MULTISCOPE software enable the system to manage an incredible 256 GBytes of video data equivalent to some 10 million pictures.

Release of the third generation of intelligent video motion detectors, VS-40 Digitective, with integrated picture memory, user-friendly computer based setup and even more flexible application.

The certification according to DIN ISO 9002 is extended to DIN ISO 9001.
Expansion of the existing company building by another 800 m².

Introduction of the next generation of digital video recording systems MULTISCOPE II, network based, with a client server architecture using the TCP/IP communication protocol and Windows NT as operating system.

Market introduction of the latest generation of modular video matrix systems – extremely compact and powerful with integrated sync signal monitoring and text display, expandable to more than 4000 video inputs and over 1000 outputs.
MULTISCOPE II offers further functionality such as live picture transmission in H.320 format, alarm messages as Email oder SMS and many other functions.

Release of MULTISCOPE II functions, a verry flexible TCP/IP communication interface for the integration of external management systems.
Market introduction of the video management system GeViControl, operating system windows 2000, based on client server architecture and TCP/IP communication protocols.

GEUTEBRÜCK is awarded the European IST-Prize for MultiScope II as highly innovative product in the field of information technology.

GEUTEBRÜCK enforces its strategic orientation as systems house.
Production area, offices and storage space are enlarged by another 650 m².
MultiScope II is delivered with significantly enhanced functionalities and increased storage capacity.

GEUTEBRÜCK optimises its internet presentation with improved ranking and 14 own domains.
On the SECURITY in Essen GEUTEBRÜCK displays its products on an exhibition booth of 270 m².
MultiScope III as well as new solutions for specific branches are presented on the SECURITY and on exhibitions in Madrid and Paris.

GEUTEBRÜCK Eurasia is founded in Ankara, Turkey.
GEUTEBRÜCK launches GeViScope - the new video system platform for highest performance demands.
Compax III - the new compact matrix with LAN interface is installed in first systems. Video sequences can now be displayed in real time.

New high-precision pan/tilt system ARGUS:
The compact, weatherproof housing made of V4A makes ARGUS extremely corrosion-resistant and particularly suitable for operation under aggressive climatic conditions, as for example in maritime areas, tunnels, industrial sites.
GEUTEBRÜCK establishes branch offices in Vienna, Austria, and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

GEUTEBRÜCK launches its new flexible hybrid recorder re_porter:
His name hits the mark: He reports – informs – alerts, that’s it! Latest DSP based system architecture, high functionality and full signal processing in real-time distinguish him from others. As well as his excellent picture quality.
A&S Magazine publishes an international “Top 50” of security manufacturers and ranks GEUTEBRÜCK on position 47 as one of the few German manufacturers that made it into this list.

GEUTEBRÜCK – Competence in Video Security
At SECURITY in Essen, GEUTEBRÜCK will present itself for the first time in its new design.
The re_porter family continues to grow: The models reporter_bank _sensor and _econ enrich the product family with their specific functionality. Analog cameras are more easily integrated into the network with CAM2IP. The strain on networks and storage space is reduced with special functionality; VMD and AD expand the system functionality, platform-dependent.

Thomas Geutebrück steps down from active directorship.
After around 40 years Thomas Geutebrück, founder of GEUTEBRÜCK GmbH bids farewell to his active leadership role. Katharina Geutebrück has been a successful director in the company since 1999 already. On March 1st 2012 Christoph Hoffmann has taken up the vacated chair of joint managing director. The aim remains unaltered, to safeguard a sustainable future for the family company through independence and healthy growth.

Today GEUTEBRÜCK maintains direct subsidiaries in France, Russia, Turkey, South Africa and the USA.
