GEUTEBRÜCK TopLine IPcameras with H264CCTV – nothing goes faster!

The high resolution IP cameras in the GEUTEBRÜCK TopLine range are setting new standards in the world of digital video surveillance equipment. They support resolutions of 720p, Full HD and up to 5 megapixels. Whatever the application there is a model to suit: with CCD or CMOS image sensors, standard or real day/night functionality with automatic IR cut filter, and all with progressive scanning. All cameras deliver brilliant, needle-sharp images with picture rates of up to 30 fps. Picture contents are transmitted using the H264CCTV compression process which, was specially developed for video security systems, and is lightning fast, air-tight and extremely professional.
All TopLine cameras integrate license-free and seamlessly into GEUTEBRÜCK digital recorder systems. For maximum installation flexibility these cameras can be powered locally or using PoE. H264CCTV was specially developed for use in the TopLine IP camera range. It combines the best quality in video surveillance with significant savings potential in data storage. In practical terms H264CCTV means:

In the conventional H.264 process the first P-frame in each group of pictures is generated with reference to the I-frame, and each subsequent P-frame is based on the preceding one. The loss or removal of any P-frame leads to a decompression error and hence to the loss of information.

With GEUTEBRÜCK’s H264CCTV, each P-frame is generated with reference to the preceding I-frame in the group. So even if P-frames are lost or removed for compression purposes the security-relevant information in the remaining P-frames remains intact.
